The launch of LCS 29 by Fincantieri Marine Group
May 7th, FMM CEO Mark Vandroff accompanied by Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-WI), Fincantieri Marine Group's U.S. Navy partners, and members of the Lockheed Martin team gathered together in Marinette for the launch of LCS 29.
Named after a charming city in the heart of the American Midwest and sponsored by Major General Marcia M. Anderson, The Future USS Beloit namesake made her first waves on this sunny Saturday morning. The event was attended by over 1000 guests and employees, including several WWII heroes that traveled to the shipyard from Beloit.
